About Us

Preventfirst™ was founded because of the need of a comprehensive mobile health assessment by a U.S Army Veteran who lost his father from the combination of heart attack and stroke. He became interested to know what happened and how to avoid heart attack or stroke. In the process he discovered that his father could have enjoyed life longer if someone had simply checked his cholesterol, blood pressure, plaque buildup in his carotid arteries, performed ultrasound of his heart, and then encouraged him to make some basic lifestyle changes.

Our mission is to put people back in control of their health. Since 2005 PreventFirst has been visiting churches and businesses screening people for potential problems before symptoms appear. Our mobile package include: Heart Echocardiogram, Carotid ultrasound, Ekg, BMI, Osteoporosis test, Cholesterol, CMP, CBC, PSA and Blood pressure. Our current health care system is focused in symptom management and not treating the problem. The “uninsured” is part of the reason for the rising health cost because the “insured” covers the “uninsured” medical expense indirectly. The rising cost of health care and people loosing their job only make the matter worst. We believe that everyone should know their cholesterol numbers, access and monitor their results by themselves, then apply lifestyle changes. By so doing, will significantly improve their quality of life and reduce our overall health care cost.

PreventFirst™ Community Outreach is a non-profit 501-c3 organization in good standing. We are determined to make cholesterol testing accessible to the unemployed and uninsured. We belive that this is unique a way to create excitement in people to know their cholesterol numbers and ultimately take care of their health. We are open to partnerships and charitable donationtions from organizations and individauls who share our vission.
